So Elijah has a thing for closing doors lately. He sometimes goes into his room and shuts the door as if he wants some privacy, to which Mommy (of course) refuses and re-opens the door. We're trying to teach him that he needs to be on the outside of the door before he closes it. Here was one really good lesson a few days ago...
I must have left the bathroom door open accidentally because I came down the hall and couldn't see Elijah, but could hear a knock. The lights were out and he had closed AND locked the door. Our old doorknobs are luckily very easy to pick with a screwdriver so it didn't take long to get him out, but I had to exploit him just a little before rescuing him! He was very thankful to be freed.
